Thank you for joining me. I hope you enjoyed the previous videos regarding digital selling. The point of this video is to explain a bit about how we would approach working with you. And this is, as we've talked about before, our How to Buy video.

In terms of working with you, we have a process called discovery, which is fairly self-explanatory. We need to understand and discover as much about you as possible in order to provide you with a document a proposal document that explains how we would adapt and change your long term marketing strategy.

For us, there are two types of businesses. one type of business has limited information, limited marketing assets, and another type would have a great deal of content and assets. However, with both types of businesses, the results that you're getting, we have to say are not what you expect or not what you want, which is why you're watching this in the first place.

So what do we do? Well, the first thing is we assess everything that you've got. That's your website, your assets, everything digital, anything, any piece of content that you have at the moment. Once we've understood and learned and gleaned what we can from that, we also need to look at and understand who your customers are, who you want your customers to be, which verticals you're going for. And I suppose for both our sakes, it's for us to understand where you want to go as a company in the future, what your aspirations are and what your plans are.

Once we've evaluated everything, we compile a document and a presentation schedule that relates to the About Us page, How to Buy page, Product pages, which includes the graphics, information and text and video, then we've got the Content information.

The Primary, Secondary, product - Primary, Secondary and General information that relates to your blog and the information that you want to impart and teach your customers. And the two kind of final parts are the the adverts.

Presenting and communicating your message, which is our Social 444 strategy. And finally, the livestreaming, which is to replace cold calling. So once all of that has been compiled and put together, we'll then present it to you and your board of directors or SMT, whether you'd like us to do that just by emailing the information to 
you or if you'd prefer me to present direct to everybody. And that way, you can quick fire any questions at me and get them answered there and then. Now, the costs that we put forward for Discovery are specifically related to working in the UK.

So that's a typical single business, single office type operation in the UK, and that's who we would work with. If you have multiple offices, multiple locations that need to have input to this. Then we would reprice accordingly. The cost to do discovery.

The salesXchange Discovery would be £2,700, including VAT, and would take about three days. But as I said, if you've got more offices and more people who need to input into this and it takes longer, then we'd recalculate accordingly. But that's it. That's that's how we would start the ball rolling. We provide the Discovery document. And from that, you could make a decision to say yes, get on with it or however you want to move forward. We project manage everything. Because we have, I would say, a very good grasp of of everything that's required, It puts us in an ideal position to be able to direct everything and not just explain it, but ensure any contractors that might be involved.

They report to us, we tell them what to do because we're the ones that are telling them that it must come up to our standards. If you have staff that you want us to work with, of course, then we'll impart whatever necessary information needs to be to those members of staff to bring them into this environment of transforming your business to a digital selling operation. The objective of Digital Selling is to enable prospects to buy from you, without involving a salesperson, or at least, with very little intervention from sales.  This is not about simply creating an eCommerce site and hoping for the best.

Discovery Process

Our approach is sales driven and very different from to the ineffective marketing KPIs.

Over the past twenty years many people have stated they have the next greatest thing and that’s always been wrong.  We also know different people within your organisation may well have been involved in marketing in one way or another, so new ideas may well be met with some scepticism – that’s why we recommend a quick-fire session.

This works by us presenting the overall strategy and plan of action and you and your team can challenge and ask any question, putting us on the spot.  We can do this face-to-face or over video using Teams or Zoom.

Naturally anyone can review our website too if they have the time.

Everything in Writing

Assuming everyone is happy with our responses, we recommend a report is compiled to ensure the project plan has substance.  Typically, it, will be approximately thirty pages for the live stream report which is included in the overall cost for the Live Streaming.

As a separate cost, if it is decided that consultancy is required for content strategy and website conversion optimisation, then a separate report will be provided to cover content, media types and the website review and recommendations.

How much will the Discovery Review cost:

Providing the Content & Conversion report for a business of up to approximately 100 staff is charged at £1,500 plus VAT per day.  For larger businesses, let's have a chat.

How to book a Discovery Review?

During our initial discussion we will ascertain any important factors such as location(s), available timescales, and personnel to be involved.

We will send by email, an order form as a PDF document to be signed by an authorised signatory and returned to us along with an official purchase order along with a 50% deposit.

The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled within 14 Days prior to commencement or the Discovery Review. 

The balance is payable within 14 days after completion of the Discovery Review meeting.

How long will it take to deliver the Content & Conversion Report?

Typically, it will take approximately ten days to review your existing content, the website and compile a strategy to align the website with the best conversion practices.  This will include advising/recommending the editing, merging, and replacing of content, along with a recommendation for additional necessary content to complement live shows and overall digital selling strategy.

Regarding the website, we will ensuring multiple conversion paths to reviewing and replacing website pages and links.

The report will consist of an index report in Word and provided as a PDF.

Every business is different and there is no 'one-size-fits-all' when it comes to digital content.  You're welcome to review our pricing spreadsheet, it does have twenty-six separate pricing calculating tables, but it does give an indication of the scope of work that is required.  Naturally, the work required for a new business will be different to that of an established organisation.

The Discovery Process

It is important to understand the various segments involved in transitioning from 1:1 selling to one-to-many digital selling.  It is logical to work back-to-front.  A browser can only connect if firstly, the content is available and secondly, if there is a path they can follow to learn about you, and ultimately buy from you.   Therefore your ‘How to Buy’ process needs to be created first, followed by Product, Secondary and finally Primary.

We provide a report that identifies the time and cost to restructure your existing operations to a Digital Selling infrastructure.  It entails reviewing all your existing new business and customer success assets and applying our Digital Selling framework.

The component parts of the new framework are as follows: -

  1. Review existing content in line with Primary, Secondary, General, Product and How to Buy categories.
  2. Define what new content needs to be created – e.g., written, video, podcasts and live streams and appoint content creators (internally and externally) to get the work completed.
  3. Review the website structure, i.e., navigation and technical to ensure site speed, Google integration and Customer Experience.
  4. Define your total addressable market, acquire database, structure CRM and create PPC banners for social media platforms to promote live stream shows.
  5. A program and recommendations to complete Social 444 and 120 Adverts for social media.
  6. Process to install and configure podcast, video, and live stream technology.
  7. Training program recommendations for staff to use content technology.
  8. Timetable to provide support to ensure smooth growth and future development.
